Freshly released on Google Play, Doomwheel is an endless runner by Katsu Entertainment that has you take control of a Skaven (a mole rat-like creature) to flatten your opposition. You achieve this with the, you guessed it, Doomwheel as you charge forward through the enemy ranks.
Reigns was one of the best Android games of 2016, combining the rigors of being a monarch with the simplicity of Tinder-style left/right swiping. That’s why it’s great to hear that a sequel is on the way in the form of Reigns: Her Majesty.
Set to release on Android and iOS on Sept. 14, the game is described as a “real-time, dynamic and deep strategy game.”
Linelight is the first game from developer My Dog Zorro (yeah, there’s actually a dog, and they post pictures of it on Facebook, of course) and it’s a good one, provided you like minimalist puzzle games, of which there are an abundance. But Linelight stands out, at least to me, for impressive visuals, interesting mechanics, and a very good vibe that’s easy to sink into for long periods of time. It first released on Steam and PS4, and is now available on the Google Play store. You control a line, moving along another line, and your goal is to avoid the bad lines, hit switches to complete lines and ultimately … get to the end of the line. In short: there’s a lot of lines.
