It’s a good time for point-and-click games on mobile devices, with Ron Gilbert’s Thimbleweed Park hitting about a week ago and now the lesser-known but far cuter Love You to Bits from Alike Studio landing on the Android platform.

The game purports to be a “crazy cute, purely visual, puzzle-filled, point-and-click, sci-fi adventure spanning all around the universe.” Sign me up.

The release, which claims 15 different pre-release awards on its store page, puts players in control of Kosmo, a “clumsy, rookie space explorer,” in search of Nova, his “robot girlfriend.” All of Nova’s pieces get scattered around outer space — I hate it when that happens — and this is the setup for the game’s story and mechanics.

It looks like a good time, with gorgeous art and what look to be interesting puzzle designs. You can peep the release trailer below.

We’re going to check it out more in depth and see how things are looking, but if you’re interested, you can pick it up yourself for $3.99 on Google Play.
